Whitehurst First Grade Presents The Importance of Adjectives

The Lower School Whitehurst Campus Grade 1 presented The Importance of Adjectives in McGehee Auditorium on Wednesday, April 23. The play emphasized how the English language uses adjectives and how adjectives “spice” up descriptions! The students told the story of Little Red Riding Hood, both with and without using adjectives.
The play was written and directed by Michael Fritton, with original music by Andrea Duke, and the backdrop was created by the students under the direction of Helen Meatte.
