Upper School Celebrates Hispanic Week
Bolles' celebrates the annual Hispanic Week September 29-October 2. Upper school students have the opportunity to learn about some of the culture of the different Hispanic countries. The activities and presentations take place during Activities Period.
Also in honor of Hispanic Week, the language department has “rented” an art display which contains replicas of some of Salvador Dalí’s and Pablo Picasso’s most famous works (including a replica of Guernica). The display, located in Ulmer Hall, also includes quotes from and little-known facts about these two brilliant artists. Faculty, staff, students, and guests are welcome to visit both displays. The “tour” should only take about 15-20 minutes. The first floor of Ulmer has the Dalí replicas and the second floor contains the Picasso works. The display will be up through Friday, October 3.
