Special Benefit for Coach Bob Rhodin
Coach Rhodin was the head basketball coach at Bolles in 2000 and 2001. Due to his recent illness, a special event is being held to help raise needed funds for him. Please see the information below:
A dear friend, teacher and coach from Fletcher Senior High, Coach Bob Rhodin, developed an infection in his spine and after several surgeries, since his admission to the hospital in April, has been diagnosed as an incomplete quadriplegic, which means he has minimal use of his arms and hands but little, if any, from the chest down. He is now in Brooks Rehab and they are trying to release him soon. His wife, Janice (also Coach Rhodin) is the P.E. teacher at Neptune Beach Elementary.
This family has been going through some life altering changes and is in need of our help. We are holding a benefit for his family to help cover expenses that the insurance company will not cover.
