Riley Skinner ’05 Highlighted on Pre-season Show
Bolles alumnus Riley Skinner '05 recently appeared on an episode of “Aarons Football Saturdays in the South”, a college football preseason mini-series produced by Lincoln Financial Sports and featuring athletes and teams from the Atlantic Coast and Southeastern Conferences. Media personality Tim Brando serves as the series host.
The feature on Skinner highlights his success as a quarterback on the Wake Forest football squad, the history of athletic accomplishment in his family, and his experience at Bolles and with coach Corky Rogers.
Skinner's segment on the episode was joined with features on Florida quarterback Tim Tebow, 2006 Heisman Trophy runner-up Darren McFadden of Arkansas, Kentucky stars Andre Woodson and Kenan Burton, and N.C. State quarterback Daniel Evans.
The episode aired locally on Saturday, August 11, at noon and on most southeastern affiliates over the same weekend. It will air the weekend of August 18-19 in some other markets, including Washington , D.C. For more information on the episode, visit the LF Sports web site here.
