Raphael Johnson ’08 Earns Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship
Bolles senior Raphael Johnson is one of just 28 students in the nation and the only in Florida to be a 2008 recipient of a college scholarship from the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation. The selected students will receive scholarships of up to $30,000 per year for four years.
The scholarship recipients are drawn from the Foundation's prestigious Young Scholars Program, which provides personalized advising and financial support to promising students. The Foundation receives approximately 1,000 nominations for each of its programs, making them among the largest and most competitive scholarships in the country. Selection committee members include college professors and admissions officers, who rigorously evaluate each Scholar's application.
