Four Bolles Football Players Named to Ultimate 24
Four Bolles football players have been named to The Ultimate High School Sports Guide's Ultimate 24. The Ultimate 24 is a preseason listing of the most promising players in the North Florida area. Bolles led all schools in total players honored.
Running back Stephen Barnett '09, tight end Mason Johnston '09, punter Alex Wulfeck '09, and kicker Julian Vanscyoc '09 were the Bolles players named to the Ultimate 24.
The Ultimate High School Sports Guide will feature its inaugural Ultimate 24 in the magazine's September issue. The Ultimate 24 recognizes 11 players on offense, 11 players on defense, and two special teams players who the magazine staff predicts will have the most impact at the high school level in the 2008 season. Selection was not based on college recruitment and was open to all class years.
The selection of the Ultimate 24 began with 86 of the area's top players including Bolles quarterback Davis Skinner '09 and linebacker Bradley Terry '09 in addition to the Bolles players named to the final list. The list was trimmed to 50 players with Skinner making the initial cut.
