Bolles Students Earn Several Awards at Congreso
Bolles upper school Spanish students brought home several awards from the Florida State Spanish Conference held in Orlando on April 19-21.
The students competed in the areas of dramatic presentation, impromptu speaking and declamations. The dramatic presentation “Sempronio”, which earned a perfect score, starred students Shaon Ahsan, Tushar Chakravarty, Gus Deardoff, Eric Parker, David Sack, Paul Soud, and Savannah Wood. Other students who scored in the highest “Sobresaliente” category in their respective competitions were Robert Lutz (perfect scores in both impromptu speaking and declamation), Elizabeth Carr (perfect score in impromptu speaking), Mandy Fatemi (“Sobresaliente” in impromptu speaking), Michael Mikulic (“Sobresaliente” in both impromptu speaking and declamation), and Kristina Morris (“Sobresaliente” in both impromptu speaking and declamation.).
