Bolles Repertory Dance Theatre Welcomes Guest Artist


Crystal Frazier

The Bolles Repertory Dance Theatre welcomes the first dance company guest artist of the school year as Crystal Frazier will visit the San Jose Campus on October 11-12. Frazier will join the Bolles dancers from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on October 11 and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on October 12 in Lynch Theatre. The rehearsals are open to anyone who would like to observe.

Frazier is a native of New Jersey where she began training in dance and gymnastics at the age of six. She attended University of the Arts where she earned an Associates Degree in Dance and is currently on staff teaching Styles of Jazz. She began her training in hip hop and became principal dancer with Rennie Harris Puremovement. Frazier made appearances in Repertoire, Rome and Jules, Illadelph Legends, Dance Magazine, and many more.

Frazier's choreography and appearances have been featured by the Philadelphia 76ers Dance Team, Fringe Festival, Drexel University, University of the Arts, Encore Danses en Tournee in Canada, Hip Hop Extravaganza Bermuda, Taipei University of the Arts in Taiwan, Cruzan Dance in St. Croix , Dance Ability Canada and more. She has performed in the movie Beloved, VH1 Fashion Awards with Macy Gray, BET's Comicview, BET Awards “Opening Act”, MTV's Lip Service, and Global Groove.

Crystal has also appeared in the show Monk on USA Network, hip hop company Groovaloos in Los Angeles , New York City/Los Angeles Carnival, a video with Mike Philips, an Italy tour with Kath Sledge, and featured dancer/choreographer for Jill Scott's Big Beautiful Tour. Frazier is also a judicator for local preliminaries for the Miss America Organization, Dancers Inc. Competition, and Convention and Dance Quest in Canada.

Frazier teaches Hip Hop, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical and Afro-Funk from children to adults throughout the world. She is the Former Co-Founder of Montazh Performing Arts Company, an all female dance company based in Philadelphia.
