Bolles Crew Hosts Row for the Cure

Row for the Cure Logo

The Bolles rowing program will host the local Row for the Cure for the fifth straight year on Saturday, September 27, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Jacksonville Rowing Club. The Jacksonville Row for the Cure was started by the Bolles crew coach Ted Riedeburg to honor his mother, whom he lost to breast cancer. Since then, Bolles’ crew has continued to lead the way in the fight against breast cancer.

Row for the Cure

Join the Bolles crew as they celebrate the survivors, encourage those still fighting, and remember those we have lost. The Fifth Annual Row for the Cure promises to be bigger and better than ever before.

Bring the family and enjoy a spectator boat ride. Cheer on survivors in the Proudly Pink Parade or the athletes as they row to honor those touched by breast cancer. Special demonstrations on healthy living will be held as will the Learn to Row program for those interested.
