The Bolles School middle and upper school cheerleaders earned several awards at two different National Cheerleading Association camps in June. The upper school squad attended the NCA national camp, held June 5-8 on the campus of Emory University in Atlanta. The middle school cheerleaders participated in an NCA summer camp, held June 2-5 at the University of North Florida.

The upper school cheerleaders earned various team and individual recognitions at the national camp. The Bolles squad earned the Herkie Award, the most prestigious award presented, based on leadership, values, teamwork, and sportsmanship and voted on by all teams at the camp. Only one squad out of the entire camp was chosen to receive this honor. The Bolles girls also claimed the Champion Chant Award based on technical excellence, performance skills, crowd involvement and memory. This award qualifies the Bolles cheerleaders to compete in a national competition in December.
Individually, Dani Bartnovsky received the Leadership Award, given to just one camp participant chosen for her leadership qualities. Bolles also had the most cheerleaders nominated and chosen of any squad to represent the All-American team. This honor is judged on jumps, entrance, tumbling, enthusiasm, motion technique, memory, spirit, voice projection, expression, overall appearance, and poise. Bolles upper school cheerleaders selected to the All-American team were Cate Ahlstrom '09, Chelsea Miranda '09, Isabella Paganucci '10, Sari Parker '11, and Ashley Schofield '12.

The Bolles middle school cheerleaders attended the summer camp at UNF where they learned material, were evaluated, and participated in a series of competitions versus various high schools from Florida and Georgia . Due to their numerous awards and ribbons, they have qualified for the National Championship and have been invited to compete at several events around the nation such as the Orange Bowl, Hula Bowl, and at Disney World.

The squad earned Superior ribbons for both chants and cheer, won the first place trophy for the game day cheer competition in the junior varsity high school division. The Bolles middle school cheerleaders also earned the Herkie Award.
Middle school cheerleaders selected to the All-American squad were Alexandria Acree '14, Taryn Broderick '14, and Tiffany Lewis '13. Broderick received the overall highest score among All-American selections among the middle school, junior varsity, and varsity cheerleaders.
