Parent Association hosts Summer Splash Parties for New Families

The Bolles Parent Association hosted Welcome Splash Parties for the new Pre-K and Kindergarten families at the Whitehurst Campus on July 22, 2007. Designed to welcome new families to Bolles, these events help to ease the transition to a new school and calm “first-day” jitters.
New Parent Liaisons Holly Emas and Terri Arnold welcomed Pre-K families at the Pre-K playground. Students were treated to outdoor activities, including the ever-popular Slip-N-Slide. Following the Pre-K party, new kindergarteners, their families, and the most recent Pre-K class were invited to enjoy an afternoon of swimming at the Bolles Pool.
