Lower School Summer Reading

Anytime, Anywhere, Anyplace, READ!
Whitehurst Summer Reading Summer is the perfect time to read for pleasure. Anytime, Anywhere, Anyplace, Read is this year’s theme. So grab a book and unwind; escape the routine of the busy school year. Let books entertain you and stimulate your imagination. Remember the three A’s and just READ!

Students entering third, fourth, and fifth grades may want to include choices from the 2010-11 Sunshine State Reading Program. Students will be encouraged to read selections from the Sunshine State list throughout the school year. Those students completing the list by the end of the 2010-11 school year will receive a special luncheon in their honor during the last week of school. The Sunshine State program is completely voluntary. What a great way to get a head start!
