The first game of the season was an impressive performance. Although we started out slow against Paxon, we got in the groove rather quickly. Once everyone had rid themselves of the first game jitters, the team came together nicely. The attack moved the ball well and it was evident that they had worked diligently over the off season on both and hands and shooting. The midfield ran extremely well and it was also evident they had been working hard on their stick skills. Although they didn't get to play as much as the offense, the defense was solid. Both lines played well, individually and as a whole. Clearing was painless as was the team defense. Overall the game went very well as all facets of the team came together and meshed nicely. I was extremely happy with the performance and the 14 to 1 victory.Nick Doyle
