In Memory of Larry Shofe
Larry Shofe, 55, the late Sarasota YMCA Swim Team, head coach, died Monday, August 18, 2008, in Knoxville, Tennessee. Larry had an extensive background in the competitive swimming world, having coached Bolles School Sharks, Jacksonville; University of California, at Santa Barbara; Old Dominion, in Norfolk, Virginia and Sarasota YMCA Swim Team and was most recently coaching Pilot Aquatic Club, Knoxville, Tennessee. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Shofe, and two sons, Milo '97 and Kevin.
