Girls Basketball vs Yulee

There were no chalkboard sessions at halftime. No signs of panic. Just a content feeling. Bolles took a 43-18 halftime lead and coasted to a 64-39 district semifinal win over Yulee. The win advanced Bolles to the district championship against powerhouse Ribault and assured them of reaching the state playoffs for the second time in three years.

Yulee was coming off an upset win over host Baldwin but they were no match for the Lady Bulldogs.

"Amanda Zakoske by far had her best night of her career. The whole team came in focused and ready for the game. We had a game plan and we finished with a victory," said third-year coach Kelly Stevenson.

Zakoske's career game included 21 points, eight rebounds, two assists and one steal. Junior Hannah Conte's numbers weren't too shabby either. She finished with 19 points, four rebounds, six assists and six steals.

Freshman point guard Ali Walker reached double figures with 10 points, five rebounds, three assists and one steal. Fellow freshman Tori Reiman had six points, seven rebounds, one assist and one steal.
