Girls Basketball vs Yulee

Ali Walker might be a freshman but after 20 games she's playing like an upper classman. Walker scored a career high 22 points as Bolles defeated Yulee 61-50 in district play. Bolles improved its record to 16-4 and Yulee dropped to 9-9.

"Ali had a wonderful night shooting the ball and Hannah Conte did a great job distributing the ball and handling pressure," Coach Kelly Stevenson said.

Walker wasn't just a scorer. She had four rebounds, three assists and three steals while Conte had nine points, eight assists, six steals and three rebounds.

Senior guard Amanda Zakose contributed 10 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals to the effort.

Bolles led 24-18 at halftime and were up by 15 in the fourth period. Junior Kalen Schou had eight points, three rebounds, five assists and two steals. Freshman center Tori Reiman finished with six points, five rebounds and two steals while junior Katie Gonino had four points, four rebounds and a steal. Junior Sarah Macklin added two points a rebound and an assist.

Bolles travels to Baldwin tonight.
