Girls Basketball vs Stanton
Bolles regained its swagger Tuesday night. And more important it reared its head against one of the top teams in the city on the road. The Lady Bulldogs defeated Stanton 55-45 and improved their record to 17-5.
Junior Hanna Conte led the scoring attack with 19 points while senior captain Amanda Zakoske and freshman Ali Walker also reached double figures with 13 and 11 points respectively.
"Hannah Conte ran the point in the second half and did an excellent job. She knocked down her free throws too and was six of eight from the line," Coach Kelly Stevenson said. "Amanda had a solid game and took the ball to the basket. Katie Gonino (eight points, four rebounds) ran the floor extremely well and finished in the paint."
