The first two weeks will consist of classroom instruction from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All students must attend this segment to comply with state of Florida requirements. The Drug, Alcohol, Traffic Education Course (DATE) that is required by the state of Florida prior to obtaining any Florida driver’s license is conducted during the first four hours of the
course. Before the student’s actual driving session, the student must have at least a restricted license. Within each driving session, there will be driving groups that will drive for an hour and a half each day for the two-week period. Similar driving experience will help determine the composition of each group. Students successfully completing this course will receive a Bolles certificate that may qualify them for an insurance discount.
