The baseball team won its opening game in the tournament against a stingy Mandarin Christian team 6 to 2. This has been 8 wins in a row! Eddie Allen, Andrew Pataky, and Alex Ivanov consistently pitched out of innings with runners on base. Zach Montford and Matt Swartz each threw out runners on the bases from the catcher position. Craig Walker hit the ball well and made a couple of fine plays from shortstop. Allen had 2 RBI’s while Matt Myhand and Ivanov contributed 1 apiece. Colby Peters and Drew Gibson each scored runs as well for the Bulldogs! The team takes the field again Thursday for the next round in the tournament. Good Luck Guys!
