Middle School (6-8)

Bartram Campus

Middle school students are beginning to gain their independence, but they still need guidance. Our staff works with parents and students to create an environment where every child performs at his or her best. Though middle school students are expected to excel, they’re given the helping hand they need. Each student is assigned an advisor, who acts as a mentor and guide.

At the middle school’s Bartram Campus, located along Pottsburg Creek, students are free to build their identities without the pressure of older students. The charming, 32-acre campus is home to day students in grades 6-8 and female boarding students. Amenities include renovated classrooms and state-of-the-art computer and science labs. Students also enjoy a variety of sports at the on-campus facilities.

During this time, students learn responsibility, decision-making and time management, while further honing their study habits. The middle school curriculum also encourages students’ expanding interests. The Enrichment Wheel offers students a variety of activities in computers, languages and the arts, and events like Costume Day and Grandparent Day encourage social interaction.

Middle school is a time of exciting growth for Bolles students. And once they leave, they are well-prepared to take on the challenges and decisions of upper school.
