Boarding

For our boarding students, Bolles is a second home. With boarders in grades 7-12 from more than 25 countries, the program offers diversity and a sense of family that enhances the Bolles experience.

As a convenience to our boarding families, the School has made arrangements with Boarding School Outfitters to assist with purchasing needed supplies. Please click here to go to their Website.

Boarding Girls

Female boarding students live on the Bartram Campus, and male boarders on the San Jose Campus. Each group has a supervisor, several faculty members and their families living on campus with them. Boarding students get the guidance and discipline they would at home, as well as familial intimacy. Project Link-Up pairs boarding students with Bolles families living off-campus, giving them the chance to form strong bonds while they’re away from home. Pictures will be added frequently to the on-line gallery here. Be sure to check often.

Boarding Boys

The San Jose Campus features comfortable residence halls for 80 male students. The Bartram Campus holds 50 female boarders nestled in a wooded setting. In addition to the excellent recreational facilities for boarding students on both campuses, students also take part in organized off-campus activities that provide entertainment and enrichment.

Shuttle buses transport boarding students to their respective campuses for school and other activities. For students in grades 7-9, the boarding program includes structured study time, room inspection and daily academic counseling. This prepares them for more independent living in grades 10-12. Students immersed in this culturally diverse environment learn self-discipline, respect for others, and cooperation.

In addition, our superb English as a Second Language program assists international students in their course and helps them to adapt to the culture. Upon graduation, students involved in this program are ready to continue their education in the United States.
