1. What are the upper school hours?

Monday through Friday: 8:35 a.m.- 3:45 p.m.

2. Do I need to call the School if my child is absent? If so, whom do I call?

Unanticipated absences must be reported no later than 8 a.m. the day of the absence by calling the Dean's Office at (904) 256-5040. A written explanation of the absence is required when the student returns to school.

3. How may I get my child dismissed for an appointment?

Before the beginning of the first academic class, the student must present the Dean's Office with a written request from a parent or guardian stating the time of dismissal, the purpose of the dismissal, and approximate time of return. A student must sign out in the Dean's Office before leaving and upon returning, must sign in at the Dean's Office in order to receive a readmit to class.

4. Is breakfast served on campus?

A full breakfast is served beginning at 8 a.m.

5. Is there a zero hour for students or parents to meet with teachers?

Yes, 8-8:30 a.m. before regular classes each academic day.

6. What are the Campus Store's hours?

San Jose Campus - 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday - Friday
Bartram Campus - 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday - Friday

What is the e-mail address format for all Bolles faculty and staff?

In most cases it will be "Lastnamefirstinitial@bolles.org"

8. May I call my child's teacher with questions?

Bolles requests that you call your student's advisor, in lieu of contacting a teacher directly. The advisor will pass your request on to the teacher, or ask the teacher to contact you.

9. May I get a message to my child during the school day?

In an emergency, a parent can call the Dean's Office, (904) 256-5040, and the message will be delivered as soon as possible.
