Creek Lab Results
Little Pottsburg Creek is a creek located behind the Bartram campus. It is a brackish tidal creek that flows into the St. John’s River. The school has a dock on the creek which is used for water testing. Each year the students test the creek to determine the pH, temperature, turbidity, dissolved oxygen, coliform, nitrates and phosphates. Students record the data on a chart, plot it on graphs, and use the data to write a conclusion about the overall health of the creek.
